The Eagles didn’t have 2012 second-round pick Vinny Curry on the gameday roster in either of the first two weeks of the season, but they’ve decided to make a change on Thursday night.

Curry is active and the team could look to him to boost a pass rush that didn’t give Philip Rivers much trouble at all in last Sunday’s loss to the Chargers. It’s not a sure thing, though. Curry played in six games as a rookie without recording a sack.

The Eagles that did wind up on the inactive list are quarterback Matt Barkley, cornerback Roc Carmichael, cornerback Jordan Poyer, tackle Matt Tobin, tackle Dennis Kelly, defensive end Damion Square and tight end Emil Igwenagu.

The Chiefs will have cornerback Brandon Flowers, who was listed as questionable because of a hamstring injury, in the lineup. Tight ends Anthony Fasano and Travis Kelce are both inactive, however, and the Chiefs will be thin at the spot on Thursday night.

Quarerback Tyler Bray, linebacker Nico Johnson,  offensive lineman Eric Kush, linebacker/defensive end Josh Martin and defensive tackle Jaye Howard are inactive for Kansas City.
