Hurdler Sally Pearson, sprinter Simon Patmore and swimmer Kieren Perkins will all be at the Broadwater Parkland's celebration next week, which is five years out from the day that the Gold Coast Games kick off.
Games chairman Nigel Chamier said Pearson, Patmore and Perkins illustrated Australia's proud Games record and the significant contribution made by Queensland athletes.
``Sally's success at the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games commenced her international domination of the women's 100m hurdles, which continued through to the London Olympics,'' he said.
``Simon also won gold over 100m at the Delhi Commonwealth Games and Kieren is regarded as one of the legends of world swimming.''
The emblem will be revealed at 7.15am on April 4.
