The art of racing the Nissan GT-R

There's no question that the Nissan GT-R is one of the very fastest cars that money can buy, and that its sophisticated all-wheel-drive system and active suspension give its drivers an absurd level of control at speed. In fact, the GT-R's technical brilliance and video-game quickness often spur armchair critics to make absurd claims that kind of amount to: "The car basically drives itself."

Having a bit of fun with those particularly salty members of the peanut gallery, YouTube producers at That Racing Channel have put together an instructional video about the finer points of GT-R driving and street racing. Afterburner mini movie with Hot Wheels is a mad, mad world

Vanguard Pictures has released its latest stop-motion film, starring some of Hot Wheels' miniatures. Called Nitro Warriors 2: Afterburner, it's a continuation of the last Hot Wheels adventure, Nitro Warriors. Picking up right where the last episode left off, there's plenty of action, excitement and flying. The cinematography is great, as well, making these videos far more than just little cars zooming across the screen.

Naturally, things get a little bit crazy for the Hot Wheels cars, with quite a surprise ending. The new flick isn't out on YouTube yet. Thankfully, you can check out the original on the video sharing site right here; once you're caught up on the story, scroll down to see the latest installment.

Audi revisits Ahab on desert island paradise in new ad

Well, call us Ishmael. Long ago (okay, about eight months), Audi debuted an ad during the NFL playoffs called "Ahab." It showed a salty tow truck driver and his years of catches. During that time, one particular car eluded and haunted him - a white Audi A6, whose Quattro all-wheel-drive system had no issues with the inclement conditions.

Now, there's a sequel that has Ahab, not dead and not missing any legs, on a tropical island. What he doesn't realize, though, is that the white whale (which, Audi, if you're going to associate an animal with a luxury sedan, a whale isn't the best choice) has followed him.
